East of England Ambulance Service, Stevenage

We handed over another successful project for East of England Ambulance Service on Wednesday 15 May on time and snag free. The project, to create a vehicle workshop facility and ancillary rooms to enable in house fleet maintenance, was one of five projects being carried out throughout the East of England. Site Manager, Mick Saunders says “Thank you to all the team involved in the project ensuring it ran smoothly. Special thanks to Antony Coles for a superb job on the decorating and a big thank you to electrician Ashleigh Allen and plumber Oli Field for all their help and fantastic work which contributed to the project being completed on program.”

Hulcote Office Refurbishment

Work is going well at the Hulcote office development - the construction of a new steel framed single storey office. The internal birdcage scaffold has now been dropped and underfloor electrical containment installed ready for screeding.

Taboka's Progress

We asked our apprentice surveyor Taboka for an update on how she is getting on: "It’s very challenging at the moment as it’s currently exam season. It’s difficult to balance work and my studies but I’m working through it. The project site has also presented its own challenges but it’s good to see how these are being resolved each day and I'm enjoying the meetings with the clients and learning their point of view. I'm also gaining a bit more understanding every day of the working relationships between each of the roles and departments within the business." Taboka is currently working on 2 projects - The Hat Factory and The Hat House - both for Luton Culture.
