Work on the Emerald Centre in Ampthill was recently completed and handed over to Bedfordshire Police.
The project involved the refit of a two storey building, creating a SARC unit for Central Bedfordshire.
The building was stripped out completely including all finishes and internal walls, and was then fitted out throughout with a reception area, kitchens, family waiting rooms, forensic waiting rooms, toilets and showers, along with interview, monitoring rooms and staff office areas.
New M&E, air handling, air conditioning, security and data services were installed throughout and the whole
building was decorated and new floor finishes fitted.
